NASPAA Launches the GlobalMPA Web Portal (www.globalmpa.net) to Promote MPA/MPP Degree Programs Nationally and Globally

NASPAA proudly announces the launch of its international web portal, www.globalmpa.net, which represents the most comprehensive pool of resources and information about or related to MPA/MPP degrees on the Internet. The web portal is designed to serve as an objective information source for potential international students seeking to pursue an MPA/MPP degree in the States.

It will help students find the MPA/MPP programme of their choice that meets their needs and expectations, assist with any issues they might face in the course of application to MPA/MPP schools and contribute to the excellence in public service/governance nationally and globally.

The GlobalMPA web portal contains the following resources and services:
  • A searchable online database of 77 participating MPA/MPP schools with internationalised programmes in the U.S.;
  • Listing of academic degrees and fields of specialisations available in these schools;
  • Admission criteria for MPA/MPP programmes;
  • Financial aid options for MPA/MPP students in the U.S.;
  • Student journals/diaries about academic and campus life in MPA/MPP schools;
  • Listserv and blogs related to MPA/MPP education;
  • The latest job opportunities available for the international public service; and
  • MPA/MPP Ambassadors (Alumni) who can serve as resource to potential students from their regions.

NASPAA believes that the web portal will also enable students to make fully informed and effective choices about a degree/programme that meets their career interests, expectations and needs.

In the future, NASPAA plans to expand the GlobalMPA web portal by adding new resources for international and U.S. academic programmes and faculty. The new resources and information will be added regularly to make sure that the web portal remains helpful and up-to-date.
